The Canadian Hearing Society opens a new storefront.

The local branch of the Canadian Hearing Society, 315 Reid Street, Peterborough, (Across from the Peterborough Clinic) has a new storefront featuring some of the newest communication devices on display. You can test drive alerting systems, pocket talkers, smoke alarms, telephones, TTY's (text telephones) and FM systems for TV's. They have a "try before you buy" and a loaner program.
