Strano’s Mediterranean Market

Stranso Strano’s Mediterranean Market recently opened at 332 Rubidge Street, in the historic Cox Terrace. Owned by Cheryl Strano-Genge and her husband Farley, Strano’s sells premium olive oils and vinegars, dried pastas and tomato sauces, olives, pesto, antipasto, spices, customized gift baskets and accessories. Most of the product comes from Italy, Greece and Canada. Open Tuesday to Saturday look for a Grand Opening on May 23 and 24. For more information call (705) 536-3006.

Wednesday Farmers Market

Lots of things getting fired up for the summer, including the Wednesday Farmers Market, located on Charlotte Street between George and Water under the town clock. The market operates from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and features all local producers.
