New Volkswagen Dealership

Congratulations to the Eatson Family. After 40 years in business they just opened their new Volkswagen Dealership at 500 Towerhill Road, just off of Chemong Road, across from Portage Place. Harmonized Sales Tax Meeting

The Peterborough and Lindsay Chambers of Commerce are each hosting an information meeting on Harmonized Sales Tax on June 23. The Peterborough Breakfast Meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Peterborough waterfront starting at 7:30 p.m. and will feature Stuart Johnston, Vice President, Policy and Government relations, Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and Kathy Windrem, Tax Specialist with BDO Dunwoody, and Past Chair of the Peterborough Chamber, in an information and Q & A session. “Not Just Blues” Festival

And don’t forget the annual Brian’s “Not Just Blues” Festival goes this weekend up at Lockside Trading Company in Young’s Point. This year the funds raised will go to the YWCA Crossroads Safe Haven Campaign. It’s a fabulous event and a real tribute to the memory of Brian Holmes. The event runs from 11 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., bring your own lawn chair.
