Renovations at Jake’s Neighbourhood Grill

Kevin Ross at Jake’s Neighbourhood Grill has been busy renovating for the last few months. He has new flooring, tables, chairs and booths, a refinished bar with a 51" Plasma TV, and 30 new seats separated from the restaurant by a glass divider, and a new Jake’s Club Room at the back for private dining, parties or meetings. Kevin is rightfully proud of the fact that he used all local suppliers and contractors, including Trent Metals, Beavermead Construction, John Newman Contracting, Whelan’s Carpetmax, Cabinetree, Restwell Upholstery, L.R Brown and others. Jakes’s is located at 901 Lansdowne Street next to Chapters.

Styles On High - Women's Clothing

There’s a new women’s clothing store in Peterborough. Mary Jane Moffat from Browsers Paradise on High Street has partnered with Leslie Morgan to create Styles On High, located at 815 High Street, right beside Browser’s Paradise, across from Lansdowne Place. Styles On High will cater to business women, featuring business wear – pants, blouses, sweaters, skirts, jackets, suits and coordinates as well as accessories such as jewellery, belts, purses and scarves.
