New Gold Course

Ennismore has a new golf course! The Quarry is located just across the Causeway on Yankee Line. It's Par 72 Championship Course designed by Shawn Watters. The new Pro and General Manager is Jim Leska. You can tour the new course this weekend or next. The Quarry is owned by RTW Resorts Ltd, who also own Grandview Park and Pro View Building Systems. Kneed to Relax Knead To Relax is a new on-site massage service owned by Alison Harper and Stephen Dew. Both are Certified Massage Practitioners. It's Small Business Week so there are lots of business events - The Peterborough Chamber's annual Business Excellence Awards is on Wednesday evening at the Trentwinds. The event is sold out, but watch the Thursday Examiner for a special Excellence Awards section. The GPA EDC's Business Advisory Centre has a seminar on Thursday evening on "Selling To The Provincial Government", as well as their annual Bridges to Better Business event next Thursday. www.gpaedc.on.ca has more information or call (705) 743-0777 ext 223. The Bobcaygeon Chamber of Commerce presents their Business Connections Luncheon on Wednesday at Specialty Care Case Manor. The topic will be Customer service for Seniors. Plaque for Deceased Pepsi Employees

Finally congratulations to Pepsi - QTG for officially recognizing the deaths of 23 men who were killed in the massive explosion/fire on December 11, 1916. The company unveiled a commemorative plaque today (October 23).
