New Art Shop in Town

The Blue Tomato Art Shop sell original works by local artists in a wide range of media, styles, and price ranges. Owner Beth McCubbin says she currently has a selection from over 18 artists, but will have that up to thirty by the end of the year. Beth is an artist herself, but she's also a certified conservator offering repairs, cleaning and stabilization of your valued objects. The Working Lunch

Ray Hendriks The Chamber of Commerce Working Lunch this week should be of interest to anyone serving on, or working for, a Board of Directors. Ray Hendricks, Principal of Rhema Christian School has extensive experience working with volunteer boards, in fact he teaches a course on it at Trent University. He'll talk about recruitment and training, strategic planning, core value assessment and anything else the group agrees on! The Working Lunch will be held this Thursday October 26 at the Peterborough Curling Club, 2195 Lansdowne Street West from 11 am till 2 pm.
