New Go Designs Clothing Store
Louise Campbell has spent many years in the children's clothing manufacturing and design business in Peterborough. Her new venture is called Go Designs, and Louise is going all-out with Go-Baby, featuring polar fleece clothing and beach hats, Go-Sport, featuring school spirit wear, and custom clothing, including suits for the Peterborough Speed Skating Club and the Trent Synchro swim team, Go-Girl-Hockey, a complete line of girl-specific clothing promoting pride in their sport, and Go-Dance featuring dance wear and custom designs for competition. The King Street Market Opens
Congratulations to Herb and Tammy Raglan who have proven that persistence pays off. After more than a year of hard work the couple have opened The King Street Market, formerly the Chamberlain Food Store at the corner of King and Park Streets. The King Street Market features homemade sausage, meats and fish, nearly all of it processed on-site. They also carry cheesecakes, gourmet products, pies cheese. Harbourne Antiques Opens In Lakefield
After more than 30 years of collecting antiques, Wendy and Howard Zelsman of Lakefield have just opened Harbourne Antiques to compliment their Bed and Breakfast, HarbournebytheLake. They have renovated two post and beam buildings to create the new antique shop that specializes in antique furniture both restored and in original finish. There is also collectible china, glassware, oriental rugs, quilts and linens, and eclectic art. The Zelsmans also do the restoration and refinishing on the premises. Berry's Sewing Room

Angels Of Encouragement Bandanas
Here's an interesting little business out of Janetville. Called Angel of Encouragement, owner Patricia Partridge sells creative headwear for people dealing with hair loss due to medical reasons or perhaps for people who just like to wear bandanas. Patricia particularly wants to encourage cancer survivors and has included an angel of encouragement on each bandana.
