Some say Peterborough, Ontario is one of the best located cities in Ontario.
Not only are we situated in the Kawarthas, surrounded by water and just minutes away
from woodlands in every direction, we are also within driving distance of many of the finest park
resources this province offers. Within two to three hours you can find yourself in Algonquin or
Bon Echo, a one hour trip away from Silent Lake, and we're only 45 minutes to the Petroglyphs and just minutes away from Emily Park.
This directory has been compiled based on the vast resources available at the
Ministry of Natural Resources web site. These pages have a wealth of information on
every park, listing facilities, maps, contact numbers, season dates and much more.
