Health Fair: The Women’s Business Network hosts a networking and educational opportunity for members and guests beginning at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn (150 George St., Peterborough). John Stanton of The Running Room will present at this annual fair featuring health-focused booths by members and non-members. This meeting is open to both women and men. Be sure to reserve your booth early. Founder of the Running Room, the family owned running and walking company with over 90 locations in Canada and the USA, John was named to MacLean’s Magazine’s 2004 Canada Day Honor Roll as one of ten Canadians making a difference in our nation for his contribution to health through fitness. As well, John is an active member of many community organizations, has completed over 60 marathons and the Hawaiian World Championship Ironman Competition, and is author of four best-selling books on running.
